What I am doing right now!!

Well, I am as you already know, Saurabh Mathur.

I am currently studying at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, pursuing a course in
Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems / Electronics / Software / Communications).

Previously, I had completed secondary education at Apeejay School, New Delhi, India. I scored 87.2% in those examinations, and am very proud of my effort.

Why am I doing it!!

Why I undertook this course, is no surprise. Since I had my first computer, which was a 386, 33MHz, with 4MB RAM, and a 270MB HDD (hey!! it was the top end model then) I was always interested in computers. The first love was always games, but i was also very much interested in things beyond that. Every time my computer was repaired (cos' i crashed it with viruses and stuff) I used to bug the repairman, by asking..."Oooo!! What does that do??" or "What if I press this??" . He used to get bugged, but I got things my way.

Well! I live in New Delhi with my Mom, and Dad. I am the only child. We share good relations with one another, and are a very happy family. Coming to Australia was not one of my mother's ideas, as she always would have wanted to have me beside her, it was my fathers and mine.
We figured, that since RMIT is a very well reputed institution and the course which I enrolled in was also a good one, it would be a better proposition to shape my future in a better way. On coming here, I was very homesick and stuff, but I think it was a good idea. It will definitely help me later on in life.
